The Canadian Women's Club of Chicago (CWC) started in 1960 and is made up of a diverse group of area women with a connection to Canada.

The objectives of the CWC are to promote friendship among women with common ties to Canada and to support local and international philanthropic organizations.

From September to June we hold luncheon meetings that include an informative programme or fun activity, as well as time to socialize.  Members receive a monthly newsletter (except July and August), and information on other Canadian events in this area.  In addition, activity groups have been organized for members to pursue areas of interest, and there are occasional special social events.

Each year the CWC decorates the Canadian Christmas tree at the Museum of Science & Industry as part of their annual "Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light" festival from November to January.  Over 700 decorations depict the history, culture, and diversity of Canada.

CWC welcomes new members!  Click on the "Membership" link at the left and contact us if you think you'd like to join this wonderful group.
