Thanks for contacting us! Someone will get back to you soon.

The Canadian Women’s Club of Chicago (CWCC) formed in 1960 and is made up of a diverse group of women with a connection to the Chicago area. The objectives of the CWCC are to promote friendship amongst women with common ties to Canada, and to support local and international philanthropic organizations.

From September to June we hold monthly luncheon meetings that are informative and entertaining. Members receive a monthly newsletter (except July and August) and information on Canadian events in the area. The club offers activity groups and social events.

Each year the CWCC decorates the Canadian Christmas tree at the Museum of Science and Industry as part of their annual “Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light” festival. Over 700 decorations depict the history, heritage, culture and diversity of Canada.

Per the State of Illinois Coronovirus Response Team recommendations, all CWCC in-person programming has been suspended until further notice. We hope to have a full roster of programs starting this fall or winter. In the meantime, we're planning a few virtual events to help up keep in touch.

At the end of each club year, the Board reviews a list of suggested local and Canadian charities, and decides which to donate to and how much.
